NP Plitvice Lakes

The Plitvice Lakes are a beautiful national park located in the central part of Croatia. It belongs to Licka - Senj county, the capital of which is Korenica. Plitvice Lakes National Park is the oldest national park in Southeastern Europe and the largest park in Croatia. The national park was established in 1949 and is located in the mountainous region of central Croatia, on the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
