Veli Losinj is a picturesque town located in a narrow bay on the southeastern part of the island of Losinj. Veli Losinj is characterized by the three most famous beaches, which are Rovenska, Zagrebacka - the city beach and Punta beach. Zagrebacka is a concrete beach with flat surfaces suitable for sunbathing. It is located near Veli Losinj, under the promenade that connects Veli Losinj and the Bay of Rovenska. The beach has a wonderful view of the sea, the islands and the Velebit mountains in the distance. Rovenska is a pebbly beach located in the Rovenska fishing bay of the same name. It is located next to the pier and is suitable for families with children, as it has easy access to the sea. In the background of the beach is a pine forest, which provides pleasant shade on hot summer days. There are toilets, showers and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Punta Beach is a stone beach located in front of Vitality Hotel Punta. The beach has had a blue flag for more than a decade, which means clean sea and surroundings.
