Medulin lies beside one of southern Istria's largest and most sheltered bays, where shallow water, low peninsulas and pine trees shape a varied coastal landscape. Once a fishing settlement, the town is now strongly oriented towards tourism, although the breadth of the bay and green coastal belts preserve a sense of open space.
Arena Medulin Campsite occupies the western side of Medulin Bay, south of the central
Medulin waterfront. It spreads across two small peninsulas joined by a narrow strip of land. Pine trees, internal roads and a long indented shoreline give the campsite a distinctly green and maritime character.
The photographs lead from the main entrance along shaded routes between pitches, caravans and accommodation units. They document the layout rather than the current availability of any particular pitch, unit or service. The playground and other shared areas are described only as features visible when the photographs were taken.
The shore alternates between low rocks, small pebble coves and more arranged bathing areas. In some places a road or path runs directly beside the water; elsewhere pitches descend through the pines towards the sea. The calm bay opens broad views back towards Medulin and the opposite coast.
The gallery also includes a terrace, a waterside building, rows of loungers and leisure craft, but their present operation cannot be inferred from the photographs. The long sandy shore across the bay is covered separately under
Bijeca Beach.
As a visual route, the campsite explains the western side of the bay particularly well, moving from pine shade and internal lanes to the open shoreline. Visitors looking for a more natural rocky coastal landscape can combine Medulin with an excursion towards
Cape Kamenjak.
