It is a settlement that gradually developed from a pastoral center into a fishing and maritime town with a shipyard, known for its master craftsmen and the manufacture of wooden ships. The old shipyard is still in operation, but a new marina is also under construction, which will further enrich the tourist offer of Nerezine. Marina Nerezine is located in the small bay of Biskupija.
