Slano - Monument to Croatian Defenders

The monument to Croatian defenders stands in a landscaped waterfront park in Slano. It is dedicated to the Croatian defenders who fell in the Homeland War, and wreaths are laid and candles lit here during commemorations.

The stone memorial has a distinctive modern form and stands among pine trees, overlooking the bay and the settlement on the opposite shore. Its position beside the promenade makes it easy to visit while walking through the centre of Slano.
