Slano - Memorial of gratitude for finding water

A stone fountain in Slano bears a plaque thanking Prof. Eng. Josip A. Bać for finding water. The residents of Slano erected it in 1975, and it was restored in 2010.

The small memorial connects an important event in the settlement's water supply with an everyday public space. A tap is mounted below the inscription, with a stone basin at its base.
