Zrce is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the island of Pag. It is located on the northeastern part of the island in the picturesque bay of Zrce, which is about three kilometers from the tourist town of Novalja. Zrce beach is surrounded by a pine forest.
A large parking lot is available to visitors. The beach is pebbly, with white pebbles of regular shapes. Access to the sea is easy, and due to the steep descent of the seabed, the water is quite deep. In 2002, Zrce beach was declared the most beautiful and cleanest beach in the Adriatic area by the Croatian Tourist Association. In 2003, it met all the necessary criteria and received the Blue Flag. In the peak season, the beach can accommodate up to a thousand bathers. The beach is equipped with showers, toilets, rooms adapted for the disabled, telephones and an ambulance service. For lovers of activities, beach volleyball, water scooters, slides, an aerial lift, boat rental and much more are available. On Zrce beach, they also offer sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. In addition, there is a wide range of catering options available. Zrce Beach is a phenomenon of Croatian tourism, where the party lasts 24 hours. Zrce thus further contributed to the popularity of Novalja and the island of Pag. The most popular entertainment facilities in Zrće are Aquarius, Papaya and Kalypso. Papaya is an open-air club 20 meters from the sea. It has two pools, one connected to the bar, while the other descends into a water slide. Water spray, dancing in the pool, cocktails, go-go dancers, fun day and night.
Kalypso is the oldest club that has been open for more than two decades. It is located by the sea, in a beautiful pine forest. Aquarius is located near Papaya, has an open area with a pool and an indoor area in the middle of the space. The club also has a bar and pizzeria.
