Skrbici Beach is located in a quiet bay by the Lungomare promenade near the Miramar Hotel. The small beach is ideal for families with children and individuals who prefer to hide in the shade rather than soak up the hot sun rays. It is pebble and partially concreted, with a staircase for entry and exit from the sea. Children can enjoy the playgrounds, which are well maintained. Skrbici beach is especially suitable for small children due to the well-kept play area and green vegetation, which provides pleasant shade from the early afternoon. In addition to the Škrbići beach, the Lipovica beach is also popular, which is fully arranged for the youngest, as it is pebbly with a gradual arrival into the sea. On the beach there is a small restaurant, shower and sanitary area, part of which is intended for children.
Sun loungers and parasols can be rented on the beach. Behind the beach there is a shady playground, which has a fun playground. Lipovica beach is located outside the center of Opatija and thus provides more peace and quiet for those who want to relax and unwind.
