Strossmayer Promenade - Woman with a Jug Statue

Strossmayer Promenade is one of the principal seaside walking routes through Crikvenica’s resort district.

The statue of a woman with a jug stands beside Strossmayer Promenade, between greenery and the seafront path. The calm female figure carrying a vessel is intended to be seen from several sides and acts as a quiet artistic accent among the busier bathing places.

Its water motif connects naturally with the coastal setting, although the sculpture is neither a fountain nor a monumental memorial. Its scale relates to pedestrians and nearby benches, and it is most easily noticed while walking from Balustrada Beach towards the Municipal Beach.

The sundial is also nearby. Together they are modest points of interest and a good reason not to hurry along the seafront.
