Medveja is situated only two kilometres away from Lovran and ten kilometres away from Opatija, which is the centre of Opatija Riviera. The town is named after the famous tragedy of the Greek poet Euripides, Medea.
It is an ideal starting point for trips to the nearby Ucka Nature Park. Because of the seafront location, the town is a nature lover’s dream just outside of Opatija.
