Vransko Lake - Prosika Information Centre

Vransko Lake, the largest natural lake in Croatia, lies in northern Dalmatia close to Pakostane and only a short drive from Biograd na Moru. The lake, reed beds and surrounding wetlands are protected as a nature park, and Prosika is a convenient starting point for exploring its southern shore.

The restored stone fisherman’s house contains a visitor information point, ticket desk and small souvenir shop, while parking, toilets and rest areas are arranged nearby.

Visitors can study maps and interpretation panels about the lake before continuing to the fishing harbour, birdwatching tower, Jugovir or the Babin Škoj peninsula. The path beside the centre is short and accessible, and the centre also offers kayak and bicycle rental as well as fishing permits.
