Klimno is a small village located in the northern part of the island of Krk, on the east coast of the bay of Soline. It has an ideal location, as it is protected from winds. The place belongs to the municipality of Dobrinj, the neighboring places are Soline and the administrative center of Dobrinj. Klimno is a quiet and romantic settlement that spreads around the church of St. Klemen, after which the village is named. The church is first mentioned in written sources in 1381, and was restored in 1823 and then in 1926. Klimno is known for its good catering offer, where restaurants offer seafood and other specialties. On the coast of the village there is a picturesque lighthouse. Klimno has a small marina and a shipyard, which has been operating since 1883. There are several restaurants, bars, an ATM, a shop and more. Accommodation capacities are mostly in apartments and rooms. The most important industry is tourism.
